AI that does your firm's real work
Most small firms have tried ChatGPT and stalled. The tools are not the problem: nobody has wired them into your quotes, specs, proposals, procedures and inbox. I come in, do that on your actual documents, train your people, and leave workflows your team uses the next morning.
Who it is for
- Engineering, manufacturing and medical-device shops, 5 to 50 people.
- Civil, structural and MEP engineers, surveyors, architects, environmental consultants and contractors.
- Owner-led firms in the Sacramento region. On site from Rancho Cordova; remote anywhere.
How it works
I sit with your team, find the three to five tasks where AI saves the most hours, and give you a written plan with costs. The fee is credited to setup.
Accounts and admin set up the right way, your documents made searchable, repeat tasks built and tested, and hands-on training for every user.
New workflows, fixes and training when you want them. Billed in 15-minute increments, no monthly minimum, no contract term. A 10-hour block is $1,500.
What I set up
- The right plan, not the most expensive one. Usually a team plan at about $25 per person per month; a heavier plan only for someone who proves they need it.
- Your knowledge, searchable. SOPs, specs, past proposals and reports organized so AI answers from your documents and cites them.
- Repeat tasks done in minutes: quotes and RFQ responses, proposals, inspection and test reports, work instructions, document control, meeting notes and follow-ups.
- Connections to the tools you already use: email, calendar, shared drives, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
- Agents only where they pay for themselves, with a person approving anything that leaves the building.
Why an engineer
I run my own practice this way. With AI I design orthopaedic implants and instruments, maintain design history files for a medical-device company, prepare patent filings, built and shipped an iOS app to the App Store, and built my own document-grounded AI system and tool servers. I am a chartered mechanical engineer (CEng, IMechE), so I speak the language of your work, not just the software's.
Your data stays yours
- Every account, key and admin login is in your firm's name. I work as a guest user.
- No AI sends, deletes or pays for anything without a person approving it.
- No client data is kept on my computers.
Training may be reimbursable
California's Employment Training Panel (ETP) Small Business Program can reimburse eligible employers for employee training. I can structure the training to fit its rules; eligibility and approval are ETP's decision.
