What this website and the Orthopaedic Procedure Runway Report collect about you, why, who else sees it, and how long I keep it. In short: only what I need to sell and protect the report, never sold, never used for advertising.
Browsing this website
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. It is hosted by Vercel, whose servers record standard request logs (such as IP address and time), and its fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
If you buy a subscription
- What you give at checkout: your email address, the full name and organization you enter for your license, and your billing details.
- Who handles payment: Stripe processes payments, and its Link service acts as the seller of record and handles sales tax. Your card details go to Stripe, not to me; I see the payment, your email, name, organization and billing country, but never your full card number. Stripe's use of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Why I use it: to deliver the reports, put your name on your licensed pages, send receipts and alerts, answer you, and keep the records the law requires.
Reading the reports
Each subscriber reads through a personal link. Each time a report is opened, I record the time, the IP address, the approximate location derived from it (country, region and city), and the browser and device type. I use this only to protect the license, for example to notice a link being used outside your organization. It is stored privately with Vercel and seen only by me.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers above (Stripe, Vercel and Google Fonts) and anyone the law requires. I do not sell, rent or share your information for marketing.
How long I keep it
- Report access logs: deleted 24 months after they are recorded.
- Your name, organization and email: kept while you subscribe and for 24 months afterward, so I can handle renewals and questions, then deleted.
- Payment and tax records: kept as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
You can ask me to show you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it, apart from records I must keep by law. Email me and I will reply within 30 days.
